A change for Glenelg

In December last year severe storms removed the roof which covers the Tigers change rooms. Since then the Tigers have not been able to access their change rooms and with the brand new football season drawing closer this has become a real concern. The tigers have only just recently received permission from the City of Holdfast Bay council to temporarily place change rooms in the car park under its function centre. With these temporary facilities being set up there will no doubt be some need for plumbing to be installed, things such as wash basins and showers at a minimum with the potential for a separate portable building which will also house toilet facilities for males and females. The race is now on to have all these facilities in place and working before the first game, a spokesperson from the Glenelg Football club stated they were confident everything will done in time for the first match.
