Exciting new 12 Storey Hotel and Apartment complex about to start in Glenelg

The brand new 100 million dollar 5 star hotel and apartment complex is due to start in 2017. Demolition of the existing Comfort Inn motel on Adelphi Terrace will commence in June 2017. The project is expected to create over 1000 new jobs when in construction (both directly and indirectly) which is exciting news for the states economy. Plumbers, Drain Layers, Hot Water Installers and Gasfitters will no doubt be in high demand during this peak period, with many tradesmen working 6 days a week in order to get this project over line. Items such as new toilets, water heaters, kitchen taps, gas barbecue's, hand basins and tap ware will be plentiful as majority of the rooms will have 2 bathrooms keeping inline with majority of 5 star hotels built these days. Keeping this new complexes energy rating efficient will be in the spot light and storm water harvesting will no doubt play a huge role in this. Other items which may contribute to the buildings low energy foot print may also be water less urinals and low flow shower roses. Our Glenelg Plumbers will be run off there feet once construction is completed in 2018 with service calls needed over time as things eventually break down and need repairs. This exciting new hotel development is a welcomed step forward for SA's construction industry and will increase our tourist traffic which in return will continue to stimulate the states economy into the future.
