Sadly today a man in is 30's has sustained serious injuries after performing a jetty jump off the Glenelg Jetty at low tide this afternoon. The jetty is a popular place for beach goers during the warmer months in Adelaide and can be extremely dangerous when it comes to diving off it especially during low tides. Although the task of jetty jumping is extremely risky many people still partake in the activity and unfortunately in this recent article you can see why it should not be performed.
